IIT JEE
JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is conducted once every year between the month of April to June in two stages i.e. “JEE Main Exam” & “JEE Advanced Exam”. JEE Main Exam is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), New Delhi for the admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc & JEE Advanced Exam is conducted by seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs/ISM Dhanbad. Only those candidates who are appearing or passed 12th Board Exam, (10+2) Pattern with Physics, Chemistry & Maths as main subjects & not born before October 01, 1991 are eligible to appear in JEE Main & JEE Advanced Exams. For SC/ST & Person with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, 5 years of age relaxation is given.
